Massage therapy is not a Substitute for Veterinary care!

It is a great addition to your horse’s current health care regimen

Massage therapy is a supportive wellness tool, not a replacement for veterinary care. It complements your horse’s existing health routine by promoting relaxation, improving circulation, and supporting overall mobility. A happy horse is a healthy horse!

Equi-Silhouette . . .

Horses are magnificent and work incredibly hard to accommodate our human desire to ride. Whether it is a top performance horse, a horse that is trained to ensure his best athletic capacity is reached, the schoolmaster and even the happy hacker. It is an absolute privilege for us to ride a horse.

A strong emphasis hasalways been placed on training, nutrition, preventative and palliative care, to ensure that each horse reaches their maximum potential, to run faster to jump higher and to execute the most technically difficult manoeuvres. However with the aspiration for greater results, comes the potential of injuries, pain and prematurely worn out horses.

Fortunately, there has been a modification in the thinking of the long-term wellbeing of a horse and its performance ability, to a universal style. Rather than treating each symptom separately, horse owners and trainers now prefer to encompass the benefits of alternative treatments such as, massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture and natural remedies,as part of the horses overall training approach.
